BAND FUNDING
- Band Support Funding Program. This program is designed to help
First Nations bands meet the costs that come with local government and
the administration of services funded by the Department of Indian and
Northern Affairs.
It is formula-based grant funding that allows First Nations to determine for themselves how they organize their council operations. By providing a stable funding base, it facilitates effective community governance and efficient delivery of services.
